Includes data regarding Muller, Kruse, Wulbern and related German family history, including Charleston real estate materials, items from World War II veteran Kruse Muller, family photographs, Confederate paper money, and a large number of Charleston artist files from the gallery.

Biographical materials, correspondence, research files, printed materials, photographs, family scrapbooks, and family photograph albums of Alwyn Goldstein of Georgetown, South Carolina. Also included are materials relating to Alwyn’s Department Store and various administrative records of Temple Beth Elohim.

The Richard T. Greene, Sr. papers, 1929-2006, document Richard's biographical information, his time as a student at the Avery Normal Institute, and his affiliation with the Avery Institute of Afro-American History and Culture. Materials include his resume, a biographical sketch, school event invitations and programs, class notes, school newspaper clippings, a scrapbook, and photographs.

The Guenveur family papers, 1914-1961, document the education of Lauretta Guenveur (née Goodall) at the Avery Normal Institute, Baxter D. Goodall at Howard University, Louise Guenveur Streat and Helen Guenveur Smith at Xavier University of Louisiana, and Helen Guenveur Smith at Meharry Medical College. Materials include yearbooks, commencement programs, class notes and scrapbooks, school newspapers and other publications, and souveniers.

Papers document the professional and personal lives of Aubrey Hancock and William A. Fontaine, Jr. The collection includes business records, personal and miscellaneous correspondence, documentation of their properties, guest books, and assorted ephemera on Charleston, social, and local LGBTQ life.

The scrapbook contains clippings from an unknown newspaper. Each of the articles was written by Hastings concerning the activities of the WAC in Asia. Most of the articles in the scrapbook are about the rescue of a WAC unit on New Guinea. All of the clippings are dated 1945.

This collection contains Willard Hirsch's papers, clippings, and publications related to his career as a sculptor, including his correspondence, photographs, sketches of his artwork, a scrapbook related to his work, and exhibition catalogs. It also includes information on his work as an art instructor, his involvement with the arts and Jewish communities in Charleston, South Carolina, and on members of his family, including his wife, Mordenai Raisin Hirsch, and uncle, Herman Rosenbluth.

The Mrs. Louise F. Holmes scrapbook collection contains one scrapbook that documents Mrs. Holmes's faith, love for poetry, and a broad range of other interests which reflect the life of African Americans in the Lowcountry and South Carolina. This collection contains newspaper clippings, photographs, correspondence, and memorabilia which follow the lives of the Holmes family in Charleston, S.C. and Florence, S.C.
