Business records, correspondence, photographs, printed materials, and artifacts relating to the history and operation of Pearlstine Distributors Inc. (est. 1972), a Charleston-based distributor of Anheuser-Busch products, and its parent company, I. M. Pearlstine & Sons, founded by Isaac Moses Pearlstine in 1885.

Abstract The family papers of the Collis family of Charleston and Kingstree, South Carolina, reflect the experience of a family of Eastern European Jewish immigrants to South Carolina. Materials include migration, marriage, education, and military documents; photographs; clippings; ephemera; and correspondence. Materials document the administrative, social, educational, and spiritual activities of the congregation and its members. Also included are the records of Emanu-El’s Sisterhood, which provides major financial support for the synagogue.
