William Martin Aiken papers
Sketchbooks, photographs, clippings and other professional papers of Charleston born architect William Martin Aiken. Materials relate to Aiken's student and professional work as an architect in Boston, Massachusetts, and Cincinnati, Ohio, and as the Supervising Architect of the Treasury Department. Materials also relate to homes designed by Aiken as well as buildings designed by the New York City architectural firm McKim, Mead, and White.
Drayton papers
Diaries, ledgers, correspondence, inventories, plats, sketches, architectural drawings of John Drayton, Charles Drayton I-III, James Glen, Charlotta Drayton, Mary Middleton Drayton and others, relating mainly to affairs at Drayton Hall and other family plantations. Collection also includes artwork, reflections on eighteenth century literature, deeds, newspaper clippings and photographs.
Mary Jo Smith Fetzer papers
The collection consists of the papers of Mary Jo Smith Fetzer, graphic artist and founding staff member of WCIV-TV in Charleston, South Carolina. The papers include photographs, correspondence, and artwork from Fetzer’s personal and professional life and materials belonging to her partner, M.E. Van Dyke.

John Vaughan letters to Philip Tidyman
This collection consists of two letters discussing smallpox vaccinations sent from Dr. John Vaughan of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Dr. Philip Tidyman of Charleston, South Carolina. The letters are dated December 11, 1801 and April 7, 1802 and the latter contains a sketch of a water filtration system.
