Scope and Contents
Dr. Brown facilitated this course to have her students find and utilize African American archival and oral history sources. The class sub-theme was, "Brown vs. Broad of Education: Who Were the Early De-segregation Pioneers and What Can We Learn from Them?" Students efforts in the course would become part of a "Somebody" database. The documents include the course syllabus, student papers, correspondence, published essays, oral history newsletters.
