Having been offered a Senior Research Fellowship with the Jonathan Jasper Wright Institute for the Study of Southern African-American History Culture and Policy, Dr. Brown joined the faculty as a Associate Professor at Claflin University in August 2008. With this University appointment, she brought the "Somebody Had to Do It" project. Dr. Brown tailored her courses focusing on SHTDI, utlizing several students as project interns. Contains the subseries: Claflin University; Interns and Volunteers; and HIST 406-1: "Seminar in African American History.
