The collection consists of five photographs of Mel Kraus, a U.S. soldier who served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Photographs show Kraus working in France, where his squadron was based. Included is a photocopy of a two-page flight manifest detailing the August 1945 transport of Nazi prisoners to Nuremberg, Germany, in preparation for the war crimes trials held there later that year.

The collection consists of slides and photocopies of approximately 80 post-World War II photographs collected by Heyward Shealey, a U.S. serviceman. Images show locations in Berlin, some with damage from the war, and other European locations where Shealey traveled while on furlough, including London. Images from Berlin include the Olympic Stadium, Brandenburg Gate, and Potsdamer Platz. Slides include multiple copies of each image. Digital images on DVD are also included.

The collection consists of photographs, booklets, and maps related to Will McMasters, a captain in the 56th Armored Engineers Battalion of the U.S. Army during World War II. Photographs are of McMasters and fellow soldiers in the field during World War II, mostly working on pontoon bridge construction. Also included are nine Holocaust atrocity photographs from Mauthausen concentration camp, in Austria.

Booklets include "The Armored Engineers in Combat," undated, and the April 2007 newsletter of the 11th Armored Division Association.

Albert Rosenthal's two-part memoir focuses on events in 1944 and 1945.

Programs and correspondence related to the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of liberation of Nazi concentration camps. Included are programs from ceremonies in New York and Bergen-Belsen and an excerpt from the Book of Remembrance which lists Rosenthal and other prisoners of Bergen-Belsen.

Included is a conference program for The Nuremberg prosecutors reflect on the triumph of justice and morality : September 24-26, 1997, Law Center Auditorium, School of Law, the University of South Carolina. Also included is the South Carolina ETV radio program Nuremberg Revisited on three CDs and an accompanying curriculum guide.
