Sokol (1908-1967) was the owner and operator of the Oscar Sokol Agency, a subsidiary of the Milwaukee Insurance Company, located at 29 Broad Street, Charleston, South Carolina. Sokol would later become a successful real estate developer in Charleston.

Minutes record financial matters, including charitable donations and dues collected, elections of committee officers, new members, and committee reports read. Meeting minutes were recorded by sisterhood secretaries Mrs. Ted Fleishman, Mrs. Sam Rosenberg, and Mrs. W. W. Kesslir.
