Biographical Note

The materials in this collection were compiled by Dr. Bernard Mendelson (1933-2019) and Nancy Needle Mendelson (1937-2018) of Charleston, South Carolina. He was a graduate of the College of Charleston, Emory Dental School and the University of Chicago School of Orthodontics. The couple were members of Synagogue Emanu-El and very active in the Jewish community.
