Papers and artifacts reflect his service and activities during the war and as a participant of the liberation of Buchenwald. The collection consists of slides and photocopies of approximately 80 post-World War II photographs collected by Heyward Shealey, a U.S. serviceman. Images show locations in Berlin, some with damage from the war, and other European locations where Shealey traveled while on furlough, including London.
