Award "In Appreciation of Millicent Brown". Awarded during the Charleston Naval Supply Center’s commencement of their 1991 Black History Program on February 11, 1991 and plaque commemorating Dr. Brown's integration of Rivers High School and awarding her the key to the city of Charleston.

Materials include an invitation to the opening of the 7th annual MOJA: An African American Arts Festival as a distinguished guest, a letter from Claude Barnes during his incarceration, information about the Burke High School Class of 1966 reunion, an email exchange regarding her participation in a SCHS campaign video, and exchanges about having her dissertation published as a book among other personal and familial correspondence.

Scope and Contents Dr. Brown was the BICEP '76 Area Coordinator for South Carolina. She organized a high school competition around the theme of “Blacks and the Revolution” for which students were invited to submit creations in art, crafts, literature, or music categories.
