Charleston Chapter's "$200 for 2000 Award", 2000

The Jack and Jill of America, Inc. records is divided into 5 series:

1. Personnel

The first series spans from 1977 to 2008, mainly cataloguing organizational directories, members, and committees. Additionally, other groups like the the Charleston Teens, Buttons and Bows, and Legacy Members can be identified.

The next series (1954-2008) is split between two sub-series: Records and Guides. The first sub-series houses documentation from the Charleston Chapter along with meeting notes, memos, and historical narratives. The second sub-series houses team manuals, bylaws, and developmental guides. Researchers will be able to use this series to view the early meeting agendas and strategic planning from the inaugural 1954 Jack and Jill Charleston Chapter.

The third series, spanning from 1976 to 2009, simply showcases the events and programming hosted by the Mid-Atlantic region and the Charleston Chapter.

A comprehensive series, this media division (1975-2008) aims to highlight the visual proponents of this organization. Visitors of this collection can use this series when citing particular publilcations from the national organization, as well as photographs from the Charleston Chapter's events.

The final series highlights the achievments of this organization. Within the first sub-series there are several certifcates, plaques, and trophys obtained by local members. The second sub-series houses micellaneous memorabilia items that belonged to various team members in-which most are unidentified.
