Scope and Contents From the Series: Jeb & Dash: A Diary of Gay Life, 1918-1945, is a fictionalized version of the diaries of Carter Bealer (1899-1965), published by his niece Ina Russell. Zeigler was friends with Bealer (aka Jeb Alexander) and Isham Perkins (aka C.C. Dasham), and Zeigler appears in the published version of the diaries under the pseudonym Nicky Bowman.
