Historical Note
The Jewish community in Greenville, South Carolina, organized a local chapter of Aleph Zadik Aleph group in the 1930s. AZA is an international youth-led fraternal organization for Jewish teenagers founded in 1924. This shirt was worn by Harold Lurey (1919-2013), who was born and raised in Greenville, when the AZA group competed in sports.
