Biographical Note
Terry Fox (b. 1945) was born in Lenoir, North Carolina, and grew up in Hudson, North Carolina. He moved to Charleston, South Carolina, in 1968 after graduating from the University of North Carolina. He is the co-founder of the Charleston Arts Festival and the co-founder and manager of PechaKucha. Fox has also served as a board member of the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art, the College of Charleston’s School of the Arts Council, PURE Theatre, and the Lowcountry Palmetto AIDS Life Support Services.
