Rubin: drafts of speeches (1970s-1980s) to medical groups and at awards ceremonies; typescripts (1970s-1980s) regarding medical career of Oliver Wendell Holmes and life of Peter Mark Roget; tributes (1983) written to Dr. Rubin at Buffalo Children's Hospital; certificates and award ephemera (1972-1992); correspondence and ephemera regarding MUSC Doctor of Humane Letters degree (1975). Programs (1982-1989) from lectures and awards named for Dr. Rubin including MUSC's Mitchell I. Rubin Award; clippings (1962-1990) of medical career and achievements; personal papers (1947-1990) include verification of birth document, correspondence (photocopy) from Robert F. Kennedy regarding civil rights legislation; obituary, eulogy and MUSC memorial.
