Figures include prominent businessmen, scholars, philanthropists, and rabbis who lived primarily during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Examples include Rabbi Isaac ben Jacob Alfasi, Abraham Goldsmid, Moses Mendelssohn, Rabbi Salomone Olper, and Nathan Mayer Rothschild.
