Scope and Contents
Werner "Tom" Angress, a Jewish native of Germany, immigrated to the U.S. as part of an agricultural initiative in Virginia. After the farm on which he worked was sold in 1941, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served as an interrogator with the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment.
