Victory Hostess Organization steering committee minutes and annual report, 1943-1944

Monthly steering committee minutes and annual report of the Victory Hostess Organization formed in Charleston, South Carolina, by Nat Shulman of the National Jewish Welfare Board. Materials relate to the formation of the organization as well as entertainment planning for monthly Saturday evening dances in cooperation with the United Services Organization. Minutes and annual report were recorded by Lenora Stine, Secretary and Chairwoman of the local JWB entertainment committee. Also included is correspondence addressed to Stine from Walter Rothschild, chairman of the National Jewish Welfare Board's army and navy committee.
