Includes several typed and handwritten manuscripts by Pringle. Handwritten holographs include a partial draft of Chonicles of Chicora Wood, an untitled manuscript about "Pompey Green," notes about rice plantations in Georgetown County including White House, Pee Dee, and Waccamaw. Also includes typescripts for proposed series signed "Patience Pennington," and a rejection letter from publisher George Brett at the Macmillan Company.
