Contains 1927 and 1935 official notices from Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church's Chairman and Secretary regarding refinancing and mortgaging, respectively. In 1927, the Emanuel congregation refianced the property on Ashley and Mill St. after purchasing the church cemetery.
