"The Museum of the Passage: Carolina Enslaved and Free" Proposal , 2001

Abstract
This proposal was featured as part of a American History Workshop on February 16, 2001. The planning team wrote a proposal for a new museum in Charelston which focused on the history of the enslavement of Africans and its profound influence on America and South Carolina. The planning team included Avery Research Center employees, Dr. Marvin Dulaney, Jason Ellerbee, Curtis Franks, Bernard Powers, Sherman Payatt, Alada Shinault-Small, Oliver Smalls, and Deborah Wright.
