This article in the Southern Medical Journal is proposed as "Charges for Hospital Admissions Attributable to Health Disparities for African American Patients in South Carolina During 1998-2002" by Kit N. Simpson, Patrick D. Mauldin, and Elinor G. Chumney through the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Maxine Smith was a member on the EXCEED/RCMAR Advisory Committee.
