Scope and Contents
Materials include 13 audiocassettes containing sound recordings of the South Carolina Voices of the Civil Rights Movement conference, corresponding transcripts, an index of the transcripts, and photocopies of the original housings of audiocassettes, which needed to be replaced while being reformatted.

The collection is open for research. A cassette player is required to listen to the audiocassette tapes. A cassette player will be made available to researchers in our reading room. The Avery Research Center does not currently have the technology to play the UCA60 videocassettes.

Clark (Citizenship Education Project), Bernice Robinson (Citizenship Education Project), and Guy Carawan (Folk Singer and Author) participating.
