Biographical / Historical
Benjamin R. DeCosta (1834-1870) was the only son of Benjamin Decosta and Henrietta Bell Chisolm (1818-1885). He married Martha Eugenia Adams (1834-1915) and the couple had one son, Benjamin Rhodes DeCosta (1867-1911).
