Scope and Contents
Materials include two notepads and one notebook with notes written by J. Arthur about various topics, meetings, and groups. In the front of the notebook is a short, unfinished biographical sketch from 1987 written by J. Arthur about his childhood and experiences with segregation in Charleston as well as an outline of the Civil Rights movement in Charleston.
