Abstract
Relates the Story Theater narrative using the formerly enslaved John P. Parker narrative as the core story for the extire story theater experience. Parker's family origins in Norfolk, Virginia in 1827; his purchasing his freedom in Moblile, Alabama in 1845, and beyond focusing on the Atlantic Ocean, the Middle Passage, the Mississippi, and the Ohio Rivers (routes to freedom). The story emphasizes the role water has played in the Diaspora.
