Abstract
This play is described as "An Evening of six short plays about women and the masks they wear." Plays included are: "The Human Voice," "Runaway Honeymoon," based on the true slave narrative of William and Ellen Craft; "White Girl from the Projects," "The Diva Makes Her Entrance," "Mother Love," and "The Talking Masks."
The production was commissioned by and premiered at the Guthrie Theater, Minneapolis, MN, Summer 2001.
