Abstract
Sea Never Dry, a one-man play, tells the story of "a lone Black sailor, lost in the fog, searches for his mother-ship on a mythic shoal called the Middle Ground. With only his senses to guide him, he navigates his way through the constant and ever changing faces of the sea. The Sea Never Dry is his only companion. In his loneliness, he speaks to his boat for his comfort, of the hardships and adventures they have shared; of the obsure, misty world surrounding them; and of their search for an illusive future."
