Scope and Contents

From the Collection:

The collection’s first series is biographical contains a single folder which holds a small collection of papers pertaining to Gaillard’s life. The second series is affiliations contains two folders complete with photographs, pertaining to his involvement in the Royal Sultans Orchestra and the Charleston Fire Department. Each of the photographs contains information about the image inscribed in the margins and the backsides of the images. The third series is publications contains two documents, one of which is a Charleston News and Courier article (12/28/1980), and a booklet for the “Souvenir Program Eighty-ninth Anniversary of Wallingford Presbyterian Church, 1867-1956.” The fourth series are subject contains photographic portraits of Charles Pequette, J. Michael Graves, L. Howard Bennett, Jeannette Cox, and Rosslee G. Douglas.
