This series includes materials relating to the Congregational Christian Churches, the United Church of Christ, and the unification of the Congregational Christian Churches and the Evangelical and Reformed Church. Materials relating to the Congregational Christian Churches include general information; correspondence; meetings, conferences, and conventions; membership; domestic and international missionary work; and the Convention of the South, the regional association of which Reverend John T. Enwright was president in the early 1950s. Materials relating to the United Church of Christ include general information; correspondence; meetings, conferences, and conventions; domestic and international missionary work; newsletters; social and racial justice; and the Southeast Conference and Georgia-South Carolina Association, regional bodies representing Enwright's pastorates. Colleagues heavily represented within the correspondence include Rev. J. Taylor Stanley of Greensboro, North Carolina; Reverend John D. Moore of Houston, Texas; Reverend Stanley U. North, who served on the Board of Home Missions; and Reverend A.C. Curtwright of Savannah, Georgia.
