Scope and Contents
From the Series:
This series consists predominantly of parish registers containing information on congregation members' baptisms, confirmations, marriages, deaths, attendance and offerings. Also included is church member, Nell Houston Chisholm's typed remembrances of St. Marks from 1902 to 1918. Chisholm was the goddaughter of Alonzo McClennan, a noted African American physician from Charleston. Sunday school and choir attendance roll books, as well as obituaries are also part of this series.
