Plantation Echoes: A Collection of Original Negro Dialect Poems was published in 1904 and written by Elliot Blaine Henderson. The work includes spirituals, songs, dance tunes, sermons and prayers. A copy of the 1937 recording of the work is housed at the American Folklife Center in Washington, DC (
