From the Series:

This series includes magazine and news clippings pertaining to Geraty, her professional accomplishments and published works. Also, part of the series contains clippings on education in schools and for black students, understanding and preserving Gullah culture, letters to the editor and event announcements. In addition, the series encompasses pamphlets flyers, booklets, brochures, scrapbooks and other ephemera collected and created throughout Geraty’s life.
