This series is comprised of records pertaining to the estate of Whitlock's husband, Henry Oliver Whitlock, and his local Gary, Indiana newspaper, The Gary American. Also included in the series are correspondence between Whitlock and her attorneys regarding property damage coverage for a space she was leasing at 212 East Main Street in Dillion, South Carolina.
