The collection contains correspondence, photographs, and other materials related to their son, Dr. Herbert Seabrook, Jr., his son, Kenneth Seabrook, Seabrook, Sr.'s mother, Amerintha Alston Seabrook, and other Seabrook family members are represented. The collection also contains scrapbooks and photographs of Miriam DeCosta Seabrook's relatives, the DeCosta family of Charleston, South Carolina.
