Contains materials re the celebration of MaVynee Betsch, aka "The Beach Lady," who sought to preserve her family's beach community on Amelia Island, established in 1935, and the inspiration for Suttles to preserve the history of Atlantic Beach. Items include "American Beach Museum Narrative," magazine articles; brochures; funeral program for Betsch (2005); American Beach Property Owners Association souvenier canvas bag; laser photos of Suttle's trip; and materials from a conference on African American beach resorts.
