Holds photocopied newspaper articles on the following: "The Fall of Charleston" (22 February 1865); "The Work at Charleston," (15 August 1865); "The South Carolina Interstate Exposition," and "Famous Men of the Negro Race," featuring Dr. Robert J. McBeth in The Colored American Magazine, 1901; "When Negroes Attended the State University, from The State, Columbia, South Carolina, 8 May 1911, with Drago's typed notes. Also includes Drago's handwritten notes from The Palmetto Leader from 1928 to 1930 regarding people and events from Charleston.
