Suit filed in Charleston, South Carolina District Court. In this school desegregation case, plaintiffs (Ganaway et al. on behalf of all black children in Charleston) argue that schools in Charleston County continue to segregate in spite of legal orders to desegregate. Defendants argue that Charleston County school district was in fact desegregated according to the law.
