Historical Note
China Hall (originally named the Charleston Crockery Co.) was a wholesale and retail chinaware, glassware, and earthenware store located on the first floor of a three-story commercial building on the corner of King Street and Liberty Street belonging to the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, which used the upper floors of the building for their fraternal meetings and fellowship activities.
