The collection consists of family photographs and photograph albums, scrapbooks, and assorted papers of the Baruch family of Camden, South Carolina, and New York City, and the Lennox family of Rocky Hill, Connecticut. Materials primarily relate to Hartwig Nathaniel Baruch Sr., stage actor and member of the New York stock exchange, his wife, Arline Lennox Baruch, and their son, Hartwig Nathaniel Baruch Jr. Photographs include images of members of the Baruch family, including Simon and Isabelle W. Baruch; Hartwig Nathaniel Baruch Sr.; Arline Lennox Baruch; Hartwig Nathaniel Baruch Jr.; and Sailing W. Baruch. There are images of Simon Baruch's summer home, the Anchorage, located in Long Branch, New Jersey; Hartwig N. Baruch Jr. with various family members and nurses at the Eagle Point house in Naxera, Virginia, where he was born; Arline L. Baruch with assorted Lennox family members and friends; unidentified Lennox family members at Niagara Falls; and Hartwig N. Baruch Jr. and family at their summerhouse in Elberon, New Jersey, at the Eagle Point plantation in Naxera, Virginia, and wintering in Palm Beach, Florida. Also included in the collection are two scrapbooks, one containing materials relating to Hartwig N. Baruch Sr.'s stage career and the other containing assorted newspaper clippings and ephemera relating to the Baruch and Lennox families. The collection also includes miscellaneous papers and print materials consisting of correspondence; clippings; and Arline L. Baruch's Oxford prayer book and hymnal.
