Scope and Contents
The personal files series contains a variety of personal materials concerning the Rivers family. The series is primarily composed of notes and memoirs compiled by Margaret Middleton Rivers and later used to write the books Mendel and Mendel and Me, financial material, funerary material, family journals and diaries, marriage material, Margaret Middleton Rivers' poetry, and other family writings.
