Eleven photographs of L. Mendel Rivers visit to Spain including his attendance at a reception in honor of Murray Snyder at the Castellana Hilton Hotel, and a luncheon in Rota, Spain. Also pictured are General Donovan, Mrs. Lodge, Francisco Mata Manzandeo, Ambassador John Davis Lodge, Mrs. Donovan, Murray Snyder, Major General H. K. Mooney, Mrs. James A. Smith, Mrs. Glenn Beall, Senator Glenn Beall, Glenn Beall Jr., Captain Thomas Robinson, Captain James A. Smith, and Commander Perey W. Rairden. Also included is are two letters from Ambassador John Davis Lodge concerning L. Mendel Rivers' visit.
