Abstract
The former Wilmot J. Fraser Elementary School was located at 63 Columbus Street, on the downtown peninsula of Charleston, South Carolina. The predominately African-American public school was opened in 1957. As a part of the Charleston School District 20's redesign plan, Fraser Elementary closed at the conclusion of the 2008-2009 school year.
