Collection Overview The collection consists of three letters written to Robert Lathan during his tenure as the editor in chief of the News and Courier (Charleston, S.C.). The collection consists of 1 handwritten letter from "Alice" to "Adah" dated September 20, 1890. The letter describes Alice's visit with her family to the German city of Oberammergau to see the famous Passion Play staged there.
