Abstract Dyctis Jack Moses (1916-1996) was an African American musician from Americus, Georgia. He graduated from Morehouse College and pursued graduate studies in music at various institutions including Columbia University and Julliard. He served as music director at the Avery Institute, was the Supervisor of Music for Charleston County public schools and served in the Pacific area during World War II.
