Materials relate primarily to the sale, purchase, and transfer of the property and properties that would become the Pinehurst Tea Plantation.
Rabbi Robert A. Seigel papers
The collection includes the professional and personal papers of Rabbi Robert A. Seigel (1938-2016), said to be the South Carolina's first native-born rabbi. Included are rabbinical records, family and career scrapbooks, Sedarot and autobiographical writings, slides, publications from synagogues and organizations Seigel led, and artistic works.
Synagogue Emanu-El records
Records of Synagogue Emanu-El, the first conservative synagogue in Charleston, South Carolina. Materials document the administrative, social, educational, and spiritual activities of the congregation and its members.
